oh good grief, i hope not, maybe (trying to think positive here) he kidnapped them to get them away from a bad situation.
I was just as shocked when I read it too.....12 yo??? phew....I can't even imagine...and Slate...I thought the same thing about the adoptive father, and usually try and look on the positive side of things and situations, but my mind went into thinking he kidnapped her to "get rid of the evidence" to prove of his guilt....I know that sounds terrible, but this day and time you just can not ever tell....some people are just plain out mean/evil and have no soul.....my prayers are with all the family involved and for the safe return of both of these young girls....
Oh no wackymom on my butt now.... there is no whatever... I have heard nary a peep out of you two... :jester::jester: I would need to buy you lunch to try and right myself with you now...:lol: If that would even work....:jester::jester:
I agree that it looks like the Stepdad may not be looking out for the best interests of the kids ... I hope I'm wrong though ... I hope all will turn out ok for the girls. http://theoriginalgreenwichdiva.com...-were-taken-by-their-stepfather-matthew-hess/ North Carolina police: Missing pregnant pre-teen Keara Hess and her 11-year-old sister Sierra Hess were taken by their stepfather Matthew Hess Posted in September 29th, 2009 by Claudette Rothman in Child abuse, Child missing, crime Keara HessA 12-year-old pregnant girl and her 11-year-old sister are missing, and authorities believe they are with their stepfather, Matthew Hess. The girls' biological mother, Janette Hess, told reporters her husband took her girls on Thursday September 24, and she has not seen them since. "It's been a nightmare," Hess told reporters. Authorities said Keara Hess, who hasn't told anyone who the father of her unborn child is, was scheduled for a medical procedure the day she disappeared. Officials did not say what kind of procedure it was, but they indicated it is one she needs right away. Officials said Keara became pregnant when she and her younger sister, Sierra lived with their stepfather in Lincoln County while her parents were separated. Mathew has been married to the girls' mother for 11 years. Authorities said an AMBER alert was not issues because the children are with a legal guardian and this case does not meet the criteria of a missing child.
