6 Year old boy floats away in balloon

I'm sure alot of us dreamed of doing stuff like this when we were kids.... but this kid actually did it!! Not many details available as of yet, but wow!

I'm watching it live on MSNBC. He has to be freaking out!

 

So... pessimistic, i know... but... the article, and the design both look like he's inside the balloon. That means he's inside a container of lighter-than-air fluid, and has been for quite some time. I'm not sure the ground will be his problem.

I'm praying that its well constructed, and he's segmented off in a section that has actual air, and breathability though.

 

this is insane. i can't imagine how helpless his parents feel!!!!!!! oh i can't think about it. it makes me nervous.

 

That thing is going so fast!! They are talking about trying to grab it somehow from a helicopter.

Looks like it's going lower, it seems to be losing helium, deflating.

 

I just heard he may not be in there. I sure hope that is the case. But what if he fell out?
