Just curious? Which are you? I'm a lefty and a righty I guess. I write and eat with my left hand, but I throw a ball, swing a bat, tennis racket, golf club with the right. It's weird.
I'm the only right-handed person in my house. DH and DS are both lefties. I make them sit on the same side of the table/booth when we eat out.
I'm the only lefty in my family. Not even my parents, brother, kids. The one thing I hate about it is when I write cards, especially at Christmas, I smear the words!
Eh, it's supposed to be a sign of creativity! DS has been a lefty from birth, even his first pediatrician was suprised at how early he was left hand dominant. Very common in DH's family.
Southpaw. I am left predominate with all activities except I never could get the hang of cutting with scissors left-handed, so I did eventually switch to using my right hand for that.
Right handed except for hockey, I used a left hand stick. My mom was ambidextrous. She could also write upside down and backwards on tracing paper with her right hand, then right side up and forward on another paper with her left hand. Lay them over each other and it matched!!! Slayed me every time I saw it done.
Lefty here. However I was a little surprised to find out that there are many other that are like me. I bat and play golf, and the guitar right handed. I throw and target shoot left handed. I didn't realize so many others switched up like myself.
I am a "southpaw", much to the amusement of my family. Using a ladle with only one spout thingie is my pet peeve. I used to have a coffee mug in college that had a hole on the side which would spill drinks on a person who was right handed. I agree about the smearing ink thing on Christmas cards; my sister, who is also left handed, hooks her hand over what she is writing and that seems to minimize her smearing. The spiral bound notebooks were a pain too!
Right handed people are in the huge majority everywhere else in the world except right here on 4042. No wonder ya'll are so weird.
When I played baseball I could bat right or left even though I had more power from the left side. Now that I'm an old fart and just play softball, I stick to the left side even though I've hit home runs from both side of the plate. Throw right handed. Write right handed Golf right handed Can shoot hoops with either hand. Vote for righties.
