OK, I'm needing a little help here! I'm going as an 80's pop star for Halloween. I've got the skirt (made out of fishnet-type material), the big bow for my hair and some fingerless gloves. After getting home with the skirt I realized it's totally see-through, so I need something under it. What do you all suggest, like some leggings? Pantyhose will not work, because it is 100% see-through! And not sure what to do for a top, was thinking like a neon colored top, maybe a tank top? (if I can find one this time of year) I've got some bright colored jewelry to wear with it, which is like a bright blue. Would love to find some leg-warmers, but I'm not about to go searching for them! And I guess I have to break down and buy some green or blue eyeshadow! (anyone know where the cheapest place would be for that? Dollar store/general?)

It's gonna be so fun, I haven't dressed up in years, and I've got a costume party this weekend and next weekend! If anyone has any other cool ideas for my costume, please feel free to give ideas!

put the see through bottom on and post pics so we can determine how much needs covering.

I can just imagine what kind of responses you might be getting from certain posters around here,we wont mention names ;)
I would say leggins,as far as the leg warmers, take a pair of your husbands socks and cut off the feet-voila! Definitely the Dollar Store for the eye shadow and maybe even some glitter for around the eyes from there a s well. Whatever the hair style, just be sure to use lots and lots of hairspray.
    Have fun!!

No photos!!! :jester: I thought about cutting up a pair of hubby's socks, but he wears ankle socks. Might find something around though. Glitter is good too. Where can I get leggings, do regular stores sell them? With socks and pantyhose?

Yes, lots of colors for sure! My skirt is just like the one pictured above, only both layers are black. My hair bow and gloves are black lace too, so need the shirt and jewelry to be bright! Still not sure what to wear on my feet though, gonna see what I've got. I can't wear heels, so that is out. (I'm a klutz!)

Gotta go for now, but keep the ideas coming!!! Thanks!

these pics are cracking me up, but loving it! Thanks Kell! They actually sold shirts like those at party city, but couldn't bring myself to spend $20 on one. Maybe I'll just check out some cheap places. Maybe a tight black cami with something over it....???

What about a cut-up sweatshirt that hangs off one shoulder? Or an oversized t-shirt with a knot tied?
