We had dinner at Pier 33 Seafood, 312 E. Main Street, Clayton tonight. Very good food. Only one waitress tonight. Service only fair. Owners previously had a seafood restaurant in Cary. A very good addition to downtown Clayton. Located in the old Main Steak Restaurant location.
We are seniors. Both of us had a combination dinner (2 choices) including slaw and baked potato. We tried devil crab, fried oysters, shrimp and flounder. All were very good. Plus the hushpuppies were hot and good. Our bill was $18.50. If not seniors they have small and large portion selections. They have menu's on the window outside the restaurant.
Their food is good and pricing is reasonable. Beware, they told me that they don't make any substitutions or accomodations for different health issues. Also, they have a teenage girl that waits tables that has a teenage attitude. But overall, I would go back...
