Forgive me if this was in the earlier Halloween post.
I recall hearing something about Trunk or Treating at the fire station Friday night but don't know the details. Can someone provide more information? Is it open to the community?

Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Cleveland Fire Department will be hosting the 1st Annual Trunk or Treat. The Committee would like to invite your business to participate at no charge, all we ask is that you decorate your trunk or truck and supply candy to the community for the children to have a safe place to Trick or Treat. Spaces are limited; spaces are on a first come first serve bases. A trophy will be given to the Best Decorated Trunk or Truck sponsored by All Start Trophies. If you like to participate please contact Marlene @ 919-773-8448 or email: info@greaterclevelandchamber.com

You are trick or treating on the 30th? Do the kids not trick or treat on the 31st this year? Or is that just some special party?

Sounds like these kids will have a great time, always exciting to see the big firetrucks, etc. Have a safe one everyone. :)

Can someone please explain this to someone who's never 'trunk or treated'? I'm guessing everyone brings candy and just distributes it from their car? Do you have to decorate your car to participate?
