From the Archer Lodge incorporation web site
3000 voters in the affected area ... only 748 took the time to vote. I guess a majority of the residents don't mind a small few deciding their fate.

Isn't there something about a 15% of voters needed to get it done. I think the 15% might be needed to get it on the ballot. At 3000 voters 15% is 450 so not even that many voted for it. Hmmm....

I think it's 15% of the registered voters need to sign the petition to get it in front of the legislature.

And, as always, its those few who show up who get to decide.

Perfect time to tell folks on the side that did not prevail that they had their chance. If they didn't vote, they have no reason to complain.

I didn't vote this time. I am not sure whether incorporation will be good or bad for Archer Lodge. Did some research and still couldn't decide. So I let those who had an opinion decide. If I don't like the way it turns out, I'll move. No complaining here.
