Ok baseball fans, who do you thinks wins the World Series this year? If you don't like baseball, just move on, no need for smart comments. Yankees, Tigers /Twins, Angles, Red Sox - AL Phillies, Cardinals, Rockies, Dodgers - NL
I say Cardinals over Dodgers, Phillies over Rockies, the Cardinals over Phillies in NL Angles over Red Sox, Yankees over Twins (twins win tomorow), then Yankees over Angels. Cardinals over Yankees. I think Cardinals have great pitching and hitting. Phiiles going in with an uncertain bullpen. Rockies and Twins have ben hot, but it will be tough to keep going. Red Sox pitching is suspect. repeat of 1964.
FOUR WORDS YANKEES ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
My wife is naturally a big Red Sox fan, but she concedes that the Yankees are the most likely to win the AL this year.
Well last nights game was incrediblly exciting. I got home in the 5th inning, and watched until it was over in the 12th. Great for the Twins. I have to think other small market team fans (Pittsburgh /KC) must hate seeing the success the Twins and A's have had this decade. In the 2000's both the A's and Twins have finished 1st or 2nd 7 times out of ten seasons. I watch the Orioles games and thier announcers go on and on about how hard it is to compete against the Yankees and Red Sox with thier pay rolls. It did not stop the Rays last year. They again had a winning record this year. Meanwhile the Orioles are on their longest losing streak ever. I will be watching / or listening at 2pm for the Phillies rockies game.
very exciting World Series. I need to get back to sleeping. Rivera is amazing. If you don't get the yankees by the 8th inning, you are done.
I heard that when the Yankees win the series the stock market goes up and when they lose it goes down.
Yankees aren't bad people............ http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/11/05/joe.girardi.good.samaritan/index.html?eref=ib_topstories
