After having tried numerous ways of fixing it ourselves I'm way past tired of it at this time and would like to have some computer guru to fix the problem for us. For some reason our printer is no longer printing anything that is being send to it from my laptop, however it is still printing stuff from my husbands laptop.
Any suggestions as to who does this sort of thing without charging an arm and a leg ;)
    Thanks!

make sure your default printer is set to the actual printer. I've seen lots of printer issues that ultimately result in having the wrong printer selected.

Last time it was used it worked fine but then my husband asked his computer buddy to enable him to print from his laptop as well and that is where it all went downhill. After they worked(?) on it for a while my husband was then able to print from his but I no longer able to print from mine :x
I wonder if there might some kind of block preventing mine from reading/recognizing the printer.
Already asked husbands computer buddy but no luck there,he apparently can't no longer backstep what he did :?

Have you posted this on the PC Help Discussion Board. Many experts respond on that board for PC issues.

When you reinstall the driver, does it see the printer on the network and connect to it successfully?

I don't think so but I'm not completely sure.

Is it a network attached printer and have you changed the IP address? Did you compare your port to your husband's port?

Good question- I don't know and neither does my husband,I would have to check with his computer buddy.
It is a detached printer I guess ;)

It's on the USB Virtual Printer Port.

Make sure the computer it's attached to is allowing it to be shared.
