My son's teacher gave us a TAPE (yes, cassette tape) with some practice exercises to learn letter sounds...but I have long given up a tape player...and have no way to play it!

Does anyone have one or can recommend where to get it converted to a CD?

I called Post Pro so far and they seem reasonable and nice...I just thought one of you techies would have the equipment to do it at home :)

    thanks!

We've got a cassette player that we used for the same thing. PM if interested.

A tape player at Wal Mart probably costs $4

Does your computer have a mic port? Usually in the back but some Dell's have them in the front.

If so, you can buy or borrow a cheapo tape player and a 1/8 balanced cord from Radio Shack (same size connection as headphones and mic port) and record onto your PC. Then you can just burn it to CD for future use.

If you wanted it converted to 8-track I could help.

That's essentially the set up I use to burn LPs to CD.

I'd be happy to do this for you if you want. It's not a big deal- let me know...
