Clayton Chamber Executive Director Sally Schlindwein has resigned from her post. Schlindwein, who had been on the chamber staff for 14 years, the last 11 as their executive director, said in her resignation letter she wanted to spend more time with her family. Jazz Woodward has been appointed as interim director until a permanent replacement can he found. In September, Clayton Chamber President Tony McKinney died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Wanda Markuson was appointed president following McKinney’s death. Sounds like somebody is ****ed they didn't get the President position.
Who there. You have no idea what you are talking about. The Chamber President is a member, almost always a owner of a business, bank manger, industry leader, etc. The President is not employed by the Chamber. Sally, as Executive Director, handles the day to day operations of the Chamber of Commerce and is employed by the Chamber of Commerce. She has done a great job. Please don't throw stones at Sally.
