a 1971 Dodge pick-up like the one above. Except mine was 2 tone blue and the engine had been replaced with a 440-6 pack instead of the stock 383 that it came with.
my first car was a tractor - a 1953 Ford Jubilee 50th anniversary model. I was such a stud back then....
HA couldn't afford the real thing huh? first car....red AMC gremlin 1972? second car...yellow AMC gremlin 1972? third...white dodge omni... forth...white AMC Concord wagon...if this thing coughed i could diagnose it. lol I lost count after that... Buick something 1980 pontiac in 1997 1978 woody wagon dodge dynasty ford taurus mercury sable a few others too but I forgot them saturn L200 - it lives on through my son! and my pretty baby Kia Amante...awwww... hubby bought it for me!! awwwwwwwwwwww
My Grandmother let me borrow her all original, nearly mint 1965 Thunderbird, like the one in Thelma and Louise for 6 months after I got my license. It wasn't a convertible, but man, that thing was FAST. A 390 four barrel if memory serves. I loved that car!! Ruined me for life for having to drive anything without serious horsepower. The only thing that has ever come close was the 97 Taurus SHO that we had and now the Dodge truck with the Hemi. The SHO was fast, but didn't have that down low torque. The Hemi................well, it'll put a smile on your face for sure. 8)
my Daddy gave me his '67 convertible Camaro to drive my junior and senior year of high school and yes i had to pay the insurance and all maintenance but that car still has my heart. i was working part time in high school from 10th grade on and he basically did it to **** off his second wife but i loved it
We had one of those when I was a senior in HS, LOL!!! It was **** brown, ran decent though. Til I wrecked it anyway.
My mom had one also. Had it till the engine blew up on my Brother while driving it on I-280 in West Orange NJ. Defiinitly a POS
1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible. Something like this one except my was Silver w/Black trim and Top. Sure wished I had it back today. http://awesomecarauctions.com/uploaded_images/1964-pontiac-gto-convertible-777839.jpg
By the time I got around to buying one (1979), the Gremlin was no longer made! Mine was a little darker brown, my friends used to call it the "Little Field Dropping"
