I like that song, too. However, my favorite rendition of the song is by its creator, Mark Lowry. I'd have to say O' Holy Night is my favorite hymnal Christmas song. When it comes to the chorus, "Fall On Your Knees..." and its sung with power and conviction, its spiritually moving for me. My non-hymnal Christmas favorite is Silver Bells. For some reason, it just generates a feeling of being a child again anticipating Christmas.
O' Holy Night. Sung by Martina McBride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHAy9e5I-nY if that doesn't give you goose bumps, you're dead.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwWzLv5gcv4 My fave because my late Grandfather sang it all the time when my sis and I were little.
Love Martina McBride... what a voice... Anything that holds the true reason for the season.... My favorite in many different versions. Do you hear what I hear... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-I_FANWosqw&feature=related
Sweet Little Jesus Boy by Andy Williams and Still Her Little Child: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wmdkl01f5Ug I've sung both of these at church. I couldn't finish Still Her Little Child because I got all choked up. It means so much to me and you can't help but think of Mary just loving her little boy.
Merry Christmas from the family - Robert Earl Keene version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P37xPiRz1sg Adam Sandler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vrd9p47MPHg
Instant classic! I actually ran into that dude a few years back... he was shopping at a Wal-Mart in Tx. Pretty cool guy.
