http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1940668,00.html From the current issue of Time, here's a good read on the history of these popular social games and a few warnings, too.
gone into yoville three times and farmville about the same. I don't do any of the others. If anyone can tell me how to get them out of my facebook that would be great. Usually when people send me requests for any of them, especially mafia wars, I just go and delete them. I have no time to waste on online games. For me Facebook was a way to find old friends from long ago.
To get rid of all those pesky game updates just put your cursor to the right of the status update until you see a little "Hide" box appear. Click on it and it will confirm if you want to discontinue getting updates from this person for whatever game it is. You'll still get anything else they post. If another person posts an update for the same game, just do the same for them until you cover them all. I love this feature.
I've been on a Facebook break for about month, and I really don't miss it that much. I don't mind not knowing everyone's business all the time... especially some of the pastors and teachers. Some things are better left unsaid.
I play alot of them. But I am smart enough not to click on any of the nonsense that surrounds the game itself. The games are not harmful it all the other BS flashing and going on around it.....everyone knows not to click on any of that.....duh huh....
1. Open a new file in your computer. 2. Name it 'seabee'. 3. Send it to the Recycle Bin. 4. Empty the Recycle Bin. 5. Your PC will ask you: 'Do you really want to get rid of 'seabee?' 6. Firmly Click 'Yes.'
that has been used a few times here lately... makes one feel very special... :jester::jester::cheers:
