    Just finished the coconut cake-it has white chocolate and coconut in the batter and then whipped cream with toasted coconut on the top ;)

    This will be my second Thanksgiving in a row that I have not hosted, and will attend where a hostess insists that I not bring a thing. :(

    My usual faves are green bean casserole, stuffing (IN the bird please), pan/giblet gravy, corn pudding, and sweet potates with marshmallows.

    I am going to make desserts, plus a side, and a pinata instead. I can always bring my desserts back home with me. To take with us I am making corn pudding, apple pie, and pumpkin-spice pound cake - and the pinata with candy.

    Yes! It will be. It's for my kids to emulate the killing of the bird for their Thanksgiving Feast (kidding!!). I don't think they would understand some dork in a Cornell shirt.
