I need a watch with an alarm and water resistant. But I don't want one with a resin or plastic/rubber like strap. I prefer leather or metal. I've searched Amazon...even walmarts.com and I can't come up with one I like. I found one at Amazon but it's not water resistant. Does any one know if the plastic straps can be interchangeable with leather ones?
Maybe the Fossil outlet store in Smithfield? My wife bought me a Fossil Blue (water resistent) years ago from Belk for Christmas and its still looks as good as the day I put it on my wrist for the first time. Now it doesn't have an alarm, but I'd imagine some of their watches probably have that feature. Fossil is a good watch. I've had mine probably 15 years and got it wet plenty of times...even gone swimming with it on.
I second the Fossil watch. Wife bought a titanium years ago, and with the exception of having a band issue which they fixed for the price of shipping I have had no issues what so ever, and trust me I used to do a lot of mechanic type work where it would get covered in oil and gas and grease and stuff never stopped. my band issue was due to getting the latch caught on something and ripping it half way off the band....along with my hand....LOL
I love my Fossil watch too, and second that the outlet store in Smithfield might have something to fit your needs.
I believe Dh is going to handle it. He asked last night if I prefer a leather or metal band. I'll point him towards Fossil.
My husband also has a fossil and you can change the face and bands..I didn't know there was an outlet in Smithfield!! Good to know...I got his at the St. Augustine, Florida outlet!
