Again, I remain humbled....

In the last three days, we had some large contributions come through....they've enabled us to keep our project going.

Harleygirl and I sat in my garage with donations, and sorted, then we started counting money.

Because of your generosity we were able to provide Christmas for all three families AND a fourth that we'd previously been unable to commit to. We didn't even tell them we were coming, we just showed up at their door and said, "Do you still need help?" They said yes....we said, well, here we are.

All four of these families, 15 kids, got Christmas because of you.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am proud to be part of a community that comes through like you all do.

Every year is a new adventure for us and we never know what's going to happen or if the GPS is gonna get us lost. :lol:

I'm thrilled to pieces that my 4042 family came together again for these families who NEEDED YOU!!!

Dern it!! Not only did I miss lunch with you gals, but I missed getting to meet the Squirrel. :evil:

 

Dang...me too! I got too sucked into wrapping presents, and then it just got to late by the time I got them packed and shipped. Glad you guys had such a great day though! :hurray:

 

Dang, yesterday was one day that I could have actually stopped by CDH. I didn't know the elves were going to be there or I would have stopped by and bought them all a drink for their hard work.

Maybe after the holidays when things calm down we can have a 4042 gathering in the evening when more folks are able to attend. Anybody up for that?
