I am so ill.

I saved and saved and saved. We bought a Spa2Go portable hot tub in September for $600.

I was thrilled.

The damn thing is broken. DH has worked on it, and worked on it trying to fix it, and it's broken. Now the manufactuer is telling me that because he opened the power pack (didn't do anything, just opened it) the warranty is void. Okay, fine. We'll fix it ourselves.....NOPE. The don't sell replacement parts, period.

So now, three months of use, and I have a very expensive deck ornament.

$600 people.....I am sick to my stomach.

We didn't buy a used one off craigslist because I was scared I'd run into these problems. I bought a new one, which is now basically a piece of crap.

Merry Christmas to me.

The only people that make the part are the manufactuers of the hot tub. They have no distribution centers, they don't sell to dealers, they make and sell their own products.

I was informed this morning that I would NOT find this part anywhere....

Oh, but they will sell me a new power pack for $500........

 

Nice!! I know persistance is your middle name, so you probably have.............but I'd call back and get somebody else or keep going up the food chain til I found someone who would give me the answer I wanted.

Yesterday was the shortest day of the year. That means that today is a little longer, and we are that much closer to Spring! :hurray:
