Is anyone still Christmas Shopping?

  1. I'm done as of last night but my hubby is going out shopping tonight - God help him. Since the kids are sick, one of us has to be home all the time. I was at Target last night and it was craziness. I couldn't even think. Oh, I finally got my Amazon order the other day. Yay! Just in time. Amazon.com is awesome. I have no complaints with them.

I am. Hope to finish today. My girls don't know what they want and its stressing me. I guess a couple of things each will have to do. My problem is every time I go into a store I'm getting something for bf and I haven't even gotten his big gift yet. On my way to get that now. I hope they have it.

I just have finished a couple of hours ago. I was up at the Wal-mart in Clayton and there was hardly nobody in there.

White Oak is crazy... I stepped out to just get a gift card for my son and the traffic in that area is nutso. There is no easy way to maneuver around those parking lots...everywhere you turn, cars are backed up. Good luck out there!

I got everything except stocking stuffers for DH. I won't have a chance to be without the kids until tomorrow so I'll have to do it then. :banghead:

  7. I just looked at the stocking stuffers I got for my husband, and it's pretty pitiful. I may have to make another trip out before Friday. His big gift is me not using the credit card. :jester:

only thing I have picked up is the wife's main gift. Will be doing the rest of mine tomorrow during the day. Glad there are a few places open that sell beer up at White Oak tomorrow to help me through my day.

Actually, that's all men want. Give us a handmade book of naughty gift certificates and we're good. Wanna go the extra mile? Include your sister or best friend.

I got done with actual Christmas shopping over the weekend. I do have to run out to get some last minute items for the trip and the dinners, but thankfully the gifts are all purchased, wrapped and under the tree. Just gotta make some more goodies now and load up the sleigh.

I'm done - unless I think of something else I need to get, lol.

Gotta get groceries - hope they're not out of certain things I need.

White Oak - :iagree: traffic is cra-zy! Had to go by there Mon...never thought I'd get back out.

Y'all be sure to do your Food Lion shopping early on Christmas eve.... (so my son can get off early.., lol)

DD and I went to Cary Towne Center this morning and it was not bad at all. We power shopped and were in and out in 1.5 hours. Went several other places and didn't really run into any long lines or traffic.

I have to go out early in the morning and finish up and I'm not looking forward to it. We passed White Oak on the way home and the traffic waiting to get out of there was horrible. Glad I don't need anything up there.

No wonder I can't get into the Christmas spirit, since Christmas seems to be all about shopping and more shopping and like I mentioned before-I didn't do any shopping this year!

I just got back from FL. It was packed but they had plenty of registers open Went to Rack Room Shoes to make a return and that shopping center was packed. Before I saw the traffic I considered going to BestBuy for a couple of movies. I decided against it real quick! Not worth it... to me anyway.

Did NO shopping this year! Felt great. No stress whatsoever. We're taking the family on a Christmas vacation as their presents. Hoping it will be fun. They have no idea. Ironically, 4 of them asked for a vacation for Christmas! Shocked us. Anyhow, all our friends and neighbors also agreed no gift giving this year. We had some neighbors over for dinner but that was it. It was so nice to enjoy the company and not have to worry about gifts. Kids all had a great time together too. I can get used to this no gift giving thing and just enjoying spending time together. Hope the trip goes well.
