Alarm System

I am thinking of having one installed..mainly for the fire monitoring. Who do you guys use if you have one and any recommendations. THANKS!..and btw..we dont have a land line can we still get a system or do we need to get a land line too?

Just FYI

There is an ADT walking around neighborhoods trying to sell security systems. He is trying to scare people into getting one quoting how much the crime rate has gone up in JC.

People like that make me nervous--you never really know if they are legit or if they are a crook trying to see who has security.

No--that is actually one of the things that bother me about him. I asked him if he had any info that he could leave us but all he had was one laminated sheet he was using.

Crime rates have actually gone down and do go down in a recession. It was news to me.
