We should take up a collection and hire this guy a hooker. Hell, I'll throw in a case of beer.

I agree on moving on from her - but there are kids. I would never move on from that.

Yeah, I agree about the kids. Of course, I have no way of understanding the extent of the story there. I also agree with Cleo that you might as well pull yourself up by the boot straps and realize that your life has changed and accept it. Move on to another facet of your life and maybe your kids will reconcile with you one day if you make yourself available when the day comes.

    :iagree:

delete delete delete delete a LOT of stuff...too much emotion and too much information.

My only piece of advice is to not bad mouth their mother (or let any one else) in the children's presence. Let them form their own opinions.

And be involved in their lives as much as possible.

OP indicated earlier that they weren't his biological children, and that he had no visitation rights, IIRC. Doesn't seem he's involved in their lives any longer.

This is why I suggested he move on and stop pining/obsessing. It has been 2.5 years (if he has had no contact since the OP). Time to let go and move on.

A PI and an attorney is what I was thinking.
