I was over in Wilson one day and saw a flatbed tow truck (rollback) going down the street with a old Chrysler bouncing along. I noticed that it seemed to be bouncing a bit too much. It looked suspiciously unsecured so I backed off. We stopped at a traffic light and I left probably four or five car lengths between the truck and me. When the light turned green, the car rolled right off and struck the pavement bumper first. No offense to tow truck drivers out there, but I always give car carriers & tow trucks plenty of room just in case a chain or strap breaks or they failed to secure their load properly.
