I have two iPods that will just not turn on. One is the very original, which has over 4,000 songs on it and the other is the video iPod. Cannot get either to turn on. Anyone think Apple will trade the two for one that actually works?

Thanks. I will walk through those steps to see what happens.

I was hoping not to lose the music but if I have to I have to. Think I have it on my MyBook backup. Guess I'll check to see.

Will let you know if any of those steps work.

Thanks. I have the original one working. The video one is also working but when I listen to any song it sounds like a scratched record. Any suggestions ddrdan and/or nevil?
