Olympics question

If snow boarding is a sport in the winter Olympics why isn’t skate boarding a summer Olympic sport?

It's in The X Games... does that count?

 

Ice skating is only in the winter olympics...not in the summer. But there are other "world" competitions. ... Could skateboarding fall into this category?

yupyup... I cried when she received the gold. lmao...maybe their joy is infectious for me. ...She's pretty easy on the eyes too.. but Shaun White's hair? Girl hair for sure. My boys wanted to know whether he was a he or a she.

We explained that he's a He... but it's hard explaining the male ice skating/dancing competition... :jester:

 

I like watching the male ice skating competition! Plushenko's quadruple jump is something to see! Will be watching tonight too.

 

I don't know about some of the costumes. Did I really see pink tassles?

 

I don't recall pink tassels... but it wouldn't surprise me. At least one guy looked like he was wearing a woman's out fit...the front looked like a corset and the back looked like it had a thong..string..thang... :ack:

 

Why on earth should I care about the costumes,it's not a costume party.

I don't see why not.

 

It's a performance and performers wear costumes. I think it takes away from the performance if they are running around looking like they have women's clothes on. That's just my opinion.

 

I heard that Evan Lysacek skates in a costume designed by Vera Wang.
