Hey guys and gals. Need some ideas from the 4042 brain center...

I'm in need of a location to hold a community watch meeting or regular quarterly meetings. I'm expecting around 20-40 folks from our group so my living room will be way too small. We have no funds yet so any expense would have to come from my hip and I'm hoping to limit that as much as possible but understand that some payment may be required.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for a place near Mcgees?

Also, if a place is secured that is large enough I was kicking around the idea of inviting surrounding neighborhoods to take part in hopes that they would then organize their own com-watch. Wondering if that sounded like it would be worth the effort. Whatchall think... waste of time?

Golden Corral at 42 has a room large enough for you. Obviously they are going to want you to eat, but if you're eating, I think the room is free.

Check the fire department that is where we had our community watch meeting at.

May not be close enough, but C3 let the Jordan Ridge homeowners use space their for meetings.

I suggest Golden Corral, enjoying a meal, and utilizing their community room. They've always welcomed our group activities and gives us a chance to support a local business.

Last night South Plantation had their first neighborhood watch meeting. We had it over at the JCC across from DR Wells emporium

Really? First I heard. Did they send info to all the homeowners?
