Hey...when is the drawing? I have a $15 Papa John's card you can add to your collection if you want it. Found it yesterday. Soon after we were given the card they closed on 42 and we don't live any where near where they are now so we won't be using it. Besides, DH doesn't like Papa Johns. If you want it it's yours. We have to turn in our tickets this Friday. Sadly, the school hasn't sold nearly as many raffle tickets as we had hoped ... but that means that the folks who do purchase tickets will have a better chance of winning a great prize!!! Unfortunately this is too little too late. But I hope next year the West View PTA will do a raffle again, but as the ONLY fundraiser (like last year). That is the downfall, I'd bet money on it, this year. 100% of proceeds and the only fundraiser was a HUGE selling point last year. This year with the wrapping paper and such that was sold earlier in the year...well, I just think it didn't help. Just a note...I did indicate this as my preference on the survey sent late last year, and I have not been as involved as I would like to have been this year. BUT, I am signed on to a position for next year, and will make the time to help more and to encourage other parents more. West View and their PTA are phenomenal, and I will do my part to keep it that way. I hope others will continue to as well. (PS, and I'm going to go ahead and buy a few more raffle tickets myself. )
