OK. It's been a LONG time since we've had a puppy. (no I don't have one YET) What can I expect for shots, etc...during the first year? I already have a crate, leashes, collars, food bowls so I wont need to buy that stuff.
:hurray::hurray::hurray: Spaying was about $150 IIRC, shots 3X about $75 each time. Worth every penny.
Not too huge. She's only about 30 pounds. Was "supposed" to be Golden Retriever/Chow mix. Very small version of that! I'm really glad you're going to do it. It will make you smile again.
Will do. Check this out. She's one of 6 in that litter... http://www.spcawake.org/site/PageServer?pagename=Adoptable_Dogs 4th one down Blanche (which was my grandma Lewis' name)
awwwwwww.... too cute I think the shelter gives them their first one/two puppy shots (out of 3) for the distemper/parvo -- could be wrong tho. Do you have a vet already in line ? Although I haven't used them myself, I've heard great things about Old Stage who's very reasonable priced so that you have $$ left to spend on your baby .. unlike some that want all your $$ and can care less about what the baby gets Enjoy her .. she's a cutie
Thanks, we're not RUNNING over there just yet. LOL I have a vet lined up, Cleveland School Animal Hospital - Dr Debbie Basden. They are terrific. When we had Shelby (chow mix), they never asked questions or pressured us to do anything we didn't want done, they are AWESOME! AND 3.2 miles from the house. I'm wondering if LJK can *get* her for me.
