    YUM!
    I used to get the best, creamiest grits at a restaraunt at home in Atlanta. Haven't found nor can I make them that way since...

    Bassnight's down in Manteo is the best i have had as far as shrimp and grits.

    Have you tried making them with cream instead of water. Not exactly sure how its done, you'de have to be careful not to scald the cream, but the only grits I EVER enjoyed were Shrimp and grits, and the chef said they were made with cream.
