1978 Honda CVCC-Had to add oil every week, but it lasted for 2 years. Not bad for a $300 car. :)

Oh, the funny thing is that I traded it to my younger brother for a pair of stone washed jeans.

This will really tell my age! My first car was a 1951 Gray Dodge - with fluid drive. You could drive it straight or automatic! It was the same age I was!! Next came a 1955 red/white Plymouth Belevedere - gear stick on the dashboard. Then stepped up to a VW and finally got a "real" car - a 1965 Red Mustang! Won't bore you with the rest!

Dsatman - I remember those cars of yours!

Not surprised at that Corolla. I still keep my '92 Mazda Protege as a winter beater to drive when the salt is down on the roads up here in the winter. 178,000 miles and still runs like new!

Datsun B-210 hatchback. 3 different colors of paint. The prior own was actaully a nun! While parked one day a bucket-loader rolled over the front end. My dad and me basically put a whole new front end on it using parts from the junk yard. It took me longer to clean out all the dead flowers and that green foam stuff they use for flower arrangements then it did to fix the front end. The nun used the car to transport 'leftover' and 'used' flowers to hospitals.
