I work in pest control. If you want PM me. It sounds possibly like varied carpet beetles.

We had a bug issue last year in our bathroom. Little bitty blackish brown bugs... Could not for the life of me figure out what they were or where they were coming from.

Turns out we had a bag of bird seed in the garage they'd found their way into, got rid of the seed, got rid of the bugs....

pet food and supplies are huge sources of infestations. we offer cheaper solutions than moving. besides fleas can lay dormant for up to 10 months.

How about those little drunkards that float/fly around? As soon as it warmed up - here they are.

chemically treating carpet beetles is a last resort..

just vacuum like crazy, and when you think you have vacummed enough, do it again. pay special attention to the baseboards, under furniture that has not been moved in a long time, and under the bed

We're getting fruit flies. Time to put out an old wine cooler.
