Last high school prom for my daughter this week and I'm both excited and sad. All that she goes with meet at our house every year, take pictures in our yard and our neighbors', either pot luck it here or go to Red Lobster, hit the prom, this year they are going to IHOP after and then spend the night at our house. She and a friend are heading to stay with our family members near Ashville, tour Western Univ. and enjoy Spring Break after they get up the day after prom. Others staying will be heading to the beach. We are torn between Western and Peace. Going to tour Peace later next week.......they made some great offers but have to piece her Major together (yulk). Forensic Psychology with a minor in Education.......going into law enforcement. They grow up so fast and I guess I better start crying for the good memories now before prom and graduation. How you holding up Michelle? Sherry
I'm hanging on, Sherry. With the death of the 2 kids yesterday I think prom is gonna be a little sad this year. I'm hoping the kids can still have a great time and make some memories that will last a lifetime. Our prom is Thursday, when is yours?
So sorry about those teens. I do hope the Prom will be fun, in their memory. Ours is Thursday, as well. Lookout for the huge "Part Bus" coming from our area.....mine will not be on it but alot of her friends and my friends kids will be on it. $90.00 for one seat.....not in my lifetime. One of my friends made her son get a job to pay for all that stuff. Our thoughts will be with your crowd on Thursday night. Sherry
Marriott across from Crabtree, I think, same place as last year. I so wish we had a place around here. Sherry
Happy Birthday to you know who you are but I'm not going to embarrass you by using your name here. I'm a lucky man. :hurray:
