OLD DRUG STORE RESTAURANT/YOKOHAMA SUSHI

ok, straight from the horse's mouth (well actually her computer, i asked Erika, the GM, to email me the stats cause inquiring minds want to know)

Currently the Yokohama Sushi side is open for business:
Hours are
Monday - Closed
Tues - Sat - Lunch 11:30 - 3:30
- Dinner 5:00- 11pm
Sunday 11am - 9pm

When the ODS side opens, they are planning on having bands, both local and otherwise, karaoke, etc., whatever the local community will support and not sure the hours yet on that side. The whole place is non-smoking. The ODS side will have American fare food. The upstairs is currently open also with a lounge and bar.

Hopefully she will keep me advised of any new news to share with you all, they are still currently exploring a lot of different things.

I called Sunday afternoon wanting to get some sushi for take out, but could not get through. Are they still doing take out? Oh, how I have missed their sushi.

 

Do you know if it's the same people running the sushi bar? The sushi was excellent! Been wondering what happened to thm... if it's the same Sushi Chef's - i'll be going back! lmk... please!!!

 

yep, same Sushi Chef, John is great, he is the one remaining owner from the first partnership and i am so glad:hurray:

 

I'm also just glad they still will serve the sushi..

I know. I was just agreein'.

 

We went last week also and had a simular experience. I will try again when the restaurant side opens because I really like to support the locals, but the Japanese side was a little disappointing....

 

According to the GM Erica, Friday night kicks off the Grand Opening with the Kokopelli Band. Great band, usually draw a good crowd. I may even wait till Saturday to head to the coast.
Hope Bill and the Band rock the house!!

Unless they are closed like last time they were booked for a gig there, lol, then it will be in the parking lot:jester:
