Yep, they just posted this on fb: Smith's Nursery and Produce Farm I just ate a ripe Strawberry...picked fresh from our Strawberry Patch! We will have a few pre-picked berries for sale this weekend. Hopefully, the fields will be ready for "Pick-Your-Own" by next Wednesday (April 14). We will keep you posted.
NC strawberries are great, no matter where you get them. If I'm going to Fuquay, I stop at Porter's; otherwise, I go to Smith's, about a mile from my house. P.S.: I will be at the Clayton Farm & Community Market for opening day on Saturday, hope they will have strawberries there.
