Unfortunately the police are thinking that it was a hoax. Apparently the boy was being punished and that is why he was out jogging. We are still waiting to see what the official report will review. It has been scary for us because you never know what could happen in your neighborhood no matter how safe it is.

No, that was my X's idea of discipline. A laundry list of jogging, squats, sit-ups, etc.

Maybe they should press charges either against the boy or the guardians. One or the other as this isn't a simple joke.
