Sat April 24th So... what's going on this year? Same ole? Free pens, pencils, and plastic cups? Inflatables for the kids, and back rows of vendors trying to sell you on a pyramid/vitamin scheme? I remember the first year, they did not even have strawberries. Woopsie! Who's going? :lol:

I will be there with a booth representing my ballroom/salsa/swing dance company- DPM Studios. I have never participated in this event b/c my business is new to downtown Clayton. I have heard good things about it.... We were also offered to perform on stage at 2:15.. which is nice. Will they have 'fair' type of food there-- b/c I am craving a funnel cake

Yummy-- Funnel Cake... But, in my opinion, the ice cream ruins it... it gets all soggy-- YUCK! All I need is the powdered sugar!

I'm always disappointed at the absence of "fair food" at the strawberry festival. I've had wonderful strawberry shortcake there, though. I'll be at political booths in the am, and a church booth in the pm.
