I found some at Officemax in Garner, you might try there. A seventh grader told me yesterday that Cracker Barrel has some coming in on a truck on Thurs. (tomorrow).
They are little colorful rubberbands that the kids wear on their arms like bracelets and they come in all kinds of shapes...animals, flowers, clothing, abc's, musical instruments, etc....they hold their shape so when the kids take them off you can see what they are...the kids like to trade. Kids from kindergarten through high school.
Got Twitter? Me neither, sometimes I just look up keywords - I found this. http://twitter.com/traderbandz
There were several women the other night at McKinleys playing with them and wearing them.... Not so cute. Those are better left for the kids!:mrgreen:
I saw some yesterday.......................can't see what the fuss is about myself, but to each their own!!:jester:
Just FYI Dewaynes does not have Silly Bandz--they have Zany Bands or something--it was a wasted trip to Smithfield to get the Baseball Silly Bandz they said they had--when what they really had was the other brand sports package.
My girls just jumped on the bandwagon! Has anyone seen these in stock in the last few days? We tried Hallmark in Smithfield and White Oak, the book store at the outlet mall and Claires there also and CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens in Smithfield all with no luck. I refuse to go on any more wild goose chases but if someone sees them in stock will you post? Thanks.
Stone's teacher store on Tryon has a large selection. I think they are $4.95 for a pack of 24. Someone told me they can be found at WalGreens but I've not looked for them there.
