We are looking for some foster homes now that puppy/kitten season are here.

We provide EVERYTHING you need!!! Nothing comes out of your pocket. Pups only need 2 weeks. Give them 2 weeks and we can save their lives! Kittens need a little longer, they have to weigh 2 pounds.

If you are interested let me know!!

    Thanks!!

Oh I would love to, but darn it I got some days that I will be out of town and I don't want to put my sister through more with the animals I already have. I just adopted a sick little chihuahua myself. I hope you can get some fosters soon!

You have to keep the fosters seperate from your pets? Nearly impossible I would imagine....

Oh well, counts me out chick! I'd love to babysit a kitten for a few weeks, but not if it can't be around my other ones....

We get these animals from bad situations (or at least unknown situations) and we really don't want to expose your animals to the 'funk' that they may have. Once I see they are not sick (after 7-10 days) I let them play. But it isn't fair to keep exposing our animals to sickness over and over. It isn't mandatory to keep them seperate, but they wont pay for our vet bills either. LOL

I thought they were vetted before you sent them to foster homes?

Most of what goes to foster are puppies or kittens that are too small or too sick for spay/neuter surgery.

They get their first set of shots and worming etc... basic first vet visit stuff, but there is no way to know if they are going to break with ringworm, or kennel cough etc. Even if we vaccinate against it, they could already be carrying it and break with it.

Most of the time they are fine... or the kittens get a bit of a cold. But it is just to be cautious.
