Has anyone dealt with Rex lately about setting up a payment plan? I have surgery scheduled 6/22 and I just left a message for a call back with my "estimate". I know that I will not be able to pay all of it now. When I read this thread last year I was neither pleased or surprised. The company I work for is actually 50% owned by Rex Healthcare and we know all about the payment/collection issues they are facing.
The same thing just happened to my hubby when he had to have emergency out patient surgery, before we were checked in good they took us back, gave us an estimated bill & wanted to know how we wanted to pay. DH politely told them that we would be glad to pay once the services were completed & we received an itemized statement. They didnt even blink & agreed. We received the bill this week but it was not itemized so I have requested that b/c there seems to be a few unexplained charges as well.
