Aw, loved her and all the Golden Girls, and my 19 yro dd does too! She'll be sad to hear about this one too. :cry:
I never watched it when it was on network TV, but enjoy it regularly in syndication. Kinda ironic that last night, Blanche was embarrassed by what she said to a little person that was dating Rose and she said, "I could just die." I wondered about her well-being upon hearing that and today it is announced she has passed. Now I know Bea Arthur passed last year I believe. Betty White is still living. What about the lady that played Sophia? Did she pass or is she still living? I know at one time she was battling Alzheimer's diease.
best comedy written for best casting job ever. it's as if they had these 4 in a room and said "we need to come up with a show for you, with characters that only you could play, with material perfectly suited to each one of you individually"...
