I've worked within walking distance of a Char-Grill for 11 years and only been there to eat twice so I guess it's safe to say I won't be driving to White Oak to eat there. Its not that I don't like it. It always smells really good beginning at about 10:00AM. It's just a little fast foodish for my taste. Five Guys is good, but man - $10.00 for a burger, fries and a drink is out of my range. I can have a romantic dinner at the Golden Corral for that much.
She just knows that I love some Char-Grill and if we are near one of the ones in Raleigh and it's near meal time, that's where I'm gonna go. Not too mention that I'll probably eat there once a week when the one at White Oak opens.
yeah turn in at the light at logan's, head toward the movie theater, it's on the left before you get there...
yep....had one for lunch with mayo, lettuce, onion, cheese, and bacon...btw.....if you don't feel like the 1/2lb hamburger steak sandwich, they do offer a 1/4lb steak jr.. But as I asked earlier.....they serve something other than the hamburger steak?
Does it have a drive-thru or do they still just do walk-up service? Its been awhile since I've had Char-grill.
Ok, here's my review. Faxed in an order at 12:25 stating I would be there between 12:35-12:40. Got there at 12:33 and asked about my order.......it was still sitting on the fax machine. Got my order handed to me at 12:48, and I guess I must have looked ticked off because the girl gave me 10% off, upgraded my drink to a large, and then the manager chased me out the door with 2 coupons for $2 off my next visit. I order the steak sandwich combo and a chocolate shake and it cost me $10. Honestly, it was okay, but nothing to write home about for $10. It was just, okay.... If I'm in the area, I'd probably go back because they did try to redeem themselves, however I wouldn't specifically seek out the food.
