I will be watching, with my tissues at the ready. I almost don't want to.

I know what you mean...knowing the outcome makes it that much more painful. I can't imagine how this affected his younger son, especially happening right after he admitted he had a drug addiction.

I'm not too crazy about that one. I think that captain is a bit of a whack job. I agree with ending whaling, but not sure his ends justify the means. Someone's going to get hurt the way it's going.

I watch Whale Wars, too. However, other than the Ady Gil getting slammed (which I haven't seen the episode yet) it seems the show never has any climaxing moments. You keep watching and it seems to end the same about every week. Its a shame the slick black boat got destroyed. That, at least, gave it some extra excitement. Maybe Bob can fork up some more money to build a new one.

I haven't watch Deadliest Catch that much.

I have it set to be DVR'd because I know I won't be able to watch.

...He's been in my house every week and now I have to watch him leave for the last time.

Whale Wars is the best show on TV right now. Well, it and Real Housewives of New Jersey. 100% pure entertainment.

I was surprised to read on the website that the captain of the Ady Gil actually went aboard the harpoon ship to place the Japanese captain under citizen's arrest and that they actually detained him instead. Wow. And that Sea Shepherd severed all ties with him. Interesting.

I was actually surprised that the boat that had set the circumnavigational record and was also an experiment in biodiesel/green emissions was used for such tasks as anti-whaling.

That and the fact that it took 2 days after having the front end ripped off for the thing to actually sink.
