So I have a friend that makes things ( and no its not DAH22 ) as far as I know she isnt on this board. So last week she was advertising some new items that she was creating and she sent out an email saying that if you wanted to order said items to let her know and the name that you wanted on it. So I did, but along with the name I asked her if I could change up the colors abit so it would match more to what I have in my home. Well I never heard anything back from her and the other day I was on facebook and noticed that her "status update" was "you cant always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you might find you get what you need". Now either shes a Stones fan or it was directed to someone and in my eyes I felt like it was directed to me. So I guess my question to yall is what would you do if you were in my shoes? Would you just send out an email to her asking if she got the previous one about my order, would you ignore her and forget ordering anything or would you ask her if that quote was directed to you? :allears:
:iagree: I doubt she was directing it at you. Why would she insult you when you are giving her business?
Just contact her and ask if she received the order okay. I wouldn't say anything about FB statement she made. If she says something about your order being unreasonable to her, yet you want to maintain your friendship, just let it go. Otherwise, just buy what she's willing to sell or forget the order completely.
i agree too, it just tickles me how sometimes people think that a post is directed at them when it involves something totally different:lol:
Ok thanks for all the advice. I think I have it rehearsed as to what I want to say now with out doubting myself I ususally am not that type of person that takes things people post on FB as something directed twords me unless my name is on it or its on my page. I just thought it was a big coincidence that I had just sent the email to her about what I want and then 5 mins later that was posted, oh well such is life
And now I want to know what she makes................'cause I'm already Christmas shopping and I love me some stuff that is hand made. :mrgreen:
