A reporter took a picture of my son riding his John Deere in the July 4th parade, but I don't know which paper he was from and I don't get the local papers to have seen it. Does anyone remember a pic of a little guy riding a decorated John Deere Gator? If not, any thoughts on how I could find out if the picture was run? Should I just call the local papers?

Some newspapers have their photos cataloged for purchase and it may be a freelance photographer that took the photos for a newspaper. You may have to purchase from him or her. I guess if you can't find any links on the local newspaper websites, you'll have to call or visit in all likelihood.

We had good luck getting a picture of DS from the Clayton News Star. They were very nice about it too.

I think last weeks Cleveland Post said there would be more coverage w/ pix in this weeks paper.

The picture of the guy holding the Go Red Sox Sign, was me!!! Although, I was only holding that for my daughter and her decorated Bike....which didn't seem to make the cut of photos! I'll have to contact him about that!

(FYI, I'm NOT a Red Sox Fan, I like the Pittsburgh Pirates, 18 losing seasons in a row, so nothing to get disappointed about!. But the Red White and Blue and America's Pasttime was the theme with my daughter's bike.)

Even funnier, the Pirates? Are they even a real major league team?

I think he's a Red Sox fan. Everybody needs a real team to root for.

No, I'm born and bred in Southwestern PA....so I'm a Pirates Fan thru and thru.

As well as Steelers and Penguins.

The reason for BoSox in the parade, my fiance (now wife) and her family lived in Boston area for 9 years or so...so they're Bo Sox Fans. If I had to pick a "REAL" team to root for, I'd say either Chicago White Sox or the Detroit Tigers. But I stick behind my Buccos!

    So there's your explanation.
