Have you tried any of the temp agencies yet? Unless you have a specific skill set they'll probably market you as generic day labor, but it could give you an opportunity to network and/or impress someone that could lead to something better. If nothing else it's a (small) paycheck...
Go to JCC and get your substitute teacher certification. I think it pays 70.00 a day for non certified teachers? I would love to see more male role models in the classroom. While you are doing that, you can attend classes/teaching certification courses and be a full-fledged teacher.
I looked into that today, but no one could answer my questions....i'll try again tomorrow.....Boy you guys are great...such diverse answers I really do thank you all!:hurray:

I was out there a few weeks ago and noticed the signage out front... Food Lion Coming Soon.... oh well. I would have driven over there if was something different, Blooms or Hannaford would have been nice. It looks like it has some other small spaces available, so you'll probably get the run of the mill Chinese Food place, nails, cheap hair salon, some sort of Dollar Store....
I'd be suprised if they put a dollar store there. One never knows though. It will be nice to be able to get a gallon of milk without having to go into Clayton though. They should be open in early fall I believe.
