They re-covered a chair for me and did a fantastic job! I would definately recommend them!

Would anybody care to pm me a ballpark of their costs? I've contacted other upholstery places and I could have bought new chairs for the cost - and that was for slipcovers. lol. So rather than embarrassing myself again, if someone wouldn't mind sharing, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! It looks like I may finally get those sad looking chairs slipcovered after all.

Dennis Williams will pick up and deliver to the 40/42 area. A club chair runs about $350.00 plus fabric. Great work and very nice people.
They also do autos and boats.

Mayday, I see what you mean!

P.S.I am sure these are fine folks, but unless it is a rare antique I couldn't justify that.

It is very frustrating, I have two wing backs I have wanted recovered for years, but I can't justify the cost.

Call Parkers, I thought they gave me a very fair price on my antique gooseneck rocker & did a beautiful job!

Wow! I just called for a price and to recover my wing back plus ottoman is $300 more than I paid of it brand new! I will be slip cover shopping!

Here's a suggestion: Sometimes technical schools offer courses in upholstery. You might check around, and if you're not intersted in taking a class (option 1), you might see if any of the students would like to take it on as a project (option 2). The school could also probably give you a list of past students.

    Just a thought.
