The IAMS issues got coverage in USA Today along with the warning that everyone should wash their hands after touching dogfood or dog snacks.

I had even heard on GMA this morning that there is a chance for some of this food to cause salmonella in people

Well, Samonella is one of those things that is everywhere. Or can be. Even human food has had problems from time to time with Samonella. I feed Wellness CORE. No problems here, but it could pop up no matter what you feed or how you feed.

the really sad thing is, that if you look at the expiration dates. They all expired at the first of the July 2010. So, you figure most of that food had already been sold and fed and they are JUST NOW recalling it.

What I am wondering is where the food is manufactured. Not to be accusatory, but it seams all the tainted food we hear about lately in the news has come to use via China.
