Howdy 4042 folks. I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me. I am starting the process of remodeling my bathrooms and was wondering: outside of Lowe's and Home Depot, does anyone know where I can go to look for bathroom vanities? I'm not looking for anything super-high end, just simple, nice vanities (preferably not white :lol. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
Not sure where to go, but do have some advice for you....if you have a vanity or something that is going to be pushed tight to a wall (or several) consider looking at the discounted, scratch and dent stuff....Sometimes you'll find a good piece that just has a scratch or hole on one side, and if that's the side that's going against the wall, you just saved yourself a bunch of money! (even if it has a hole, you can get a piece of laminated board and fit it on the inside of the cabinet yourself so you don't see the wall thru it.) So good luck and God Bless. *My gramma did this and saved over $100.00 for the bathroom! Not a lot, but a lot to one living only on SS and a small pension.
You could try the Builders Discount Center( there's one in Wendell) or that Indoor Lumber place in Smithfield. Also you might want to give Habitat for Humanity a try.
You might try the Habitat store behind the Clayton post office 136 Clayton Commerce Dr Clayton, NC 27520 Phone: (919) 550-1879
Are they actually ever there? I have been looking for a medicine cabinet on craigslist, and see LOTS of vanities. Some new still in box, some fairly recent that could be used in a remodel.
