Besides Carmax? Do you guys/girls know of anyone else that does this? TIA I'm obviously on a mission here.
Sometimes it depends on the vehicle. They paid me about $2,000 over KBB for my car about five years ago and it was an easy sell. I probably could have gotten more, but I didn't have to advertise it and deal with joyriders and hagglers.
You must have had something more "desirable" than the Olds Intrigue we had. I laughed at them and walked out. And then sold it for twice what they offered to the first guy that looked at it. Selling cars privately is definitely a PITA though.
It was a Mustang Cobra SVT completely stock and low mileage. Plus, it was a rare exterior/interior color combo. So, yeah, in that case it was probably fairly easy for them to sell it. Actually, I see it around Raleigh, Clayton and Smithfield on occasion.
I know for a fact that Auction Direct USA does the same thing as Carmax, meaning they will buy your car without you buying theirs. I think Crossroad's Ford or Capital Ford was advertising that they will do the same thing.
Thank you! Hope you have been doing wonderful! Appt @ Auction Direct @10:30, keep your fingers crossed they give me more than what carmax said. OH and they have Explorers AND 4Runners on the lot ready to sell. Captial Ford doesn't require an appt, going there also. <weeee....>
Put it on Craig's List if you haven't already. I've sold two cars that way. One sold the same day i placed the ad and the other sold the day after I posted the ad.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!! $20,500. I turn it in tomorrow, mamma & daddy are coming to pick me up.:lol:
