i agree, uniforms would be a big solution to some of the bigger problems and good grief on the hair, what in the world. When my boys were growing up we went through the rat tails, the spikes, the long hair, the short hair, whatever. i figured i would let them have one thing to control since i controled everything else:lol:
If you are selling a vehicle, make sure it's clean! :ack::ack::ack: I need to disenfect myslef after touching the steering wheel. :ack::ack::ack:
If you are coming to purchase large, cumbersome items like rocking chairs...............please don't leave it up to the seller to figure out how YOU are going to get them home. Good grief!! Chick shows up in a sub-compact this morning. That's all right, she's funding my trip to Raleigh (that we were going to make anyway) with the "delivery" fee. People kill me.
Ha! Some guy showed up at my hubby's house a few months back to pick up a bureau... with a Honda Civic. *******.
People really are dumb arses, aren't they?:lol::lol::lol: Did you see my FB rant about my dumb waiter today? HELLO!! If someone asks if there is a particlular indgrediant in the food, you might want to know the answer. And if you don't know, go ask, I will wait! I wasn't just being picky! Just because the avocado was chopped up real fine, doesn't mean I won't have a reaction to it. I was ****ed!! :?
My turn to rant.... I want a real post office!!! I am so sick of the 40/42 'fake' post office as my husband and I refer to it. I was so irritated when I went to get one stamp and a hand written note, "Be back in 10 minutes" was on the door. I ran the rest of my errands and went back an hour later, the sign is still up!!! The worst part is, I was in Clayton this morning, I could have gone to that post office. That is a mistake I will not make again. It wouldn't be so bad, but this isn't the first time I have seen this sign. That and they never have postcard stamps. Apparently they only get a small number each month, and when they are gone they have to wait until next month. It is terrible that you count on a business to be available when they say they will be. That place is more of a disservice than a service. I will make pans to drive to Garner or Clayton from now on!
Not sure what time u went by there, I was there at 3:15, saw the sign on the door, sat in my car for just a few minutes and the guy was back. He had to go get cash - pointed to the overloaded cart behind him, as they had been very busy all day from being closed yesterday. Also - you do know that there is also the place by Food Lion that also sells stamps. They might cost a little more - but maybe it beats driving out of your way. Have you lived in this area very long? We are not allowed to have a post office out here (per the postal service - they tried very hard to get it approved, but couldn't) - so even though the one at 40/42 is not 'ideal' at least it does help to have something close by.
Yes, I have lived here a while and yes I did buy an overpriced stamp from the other place. It has just been so many times that I have been to that post office and the sign was on the door, or they didn't have the standard postal service items that I needed. I went by yesterday at 3, then again at 4:15. Basically, yesterday was the last straw. Not that me not going will hurt their business, but I will use a more reliable source from now on.
I wasn't sure if they still did or not - haven't bought them there is a very long time, so thats good to know too!
I go to the little 4042 Postal unit a few times a month... never seen a sign on the door, they're always open when I go. Always helpful and never been out of the supplies... the only rant I do have is that you have to have a $10 minimum to use a debit card, which isn't always convenient because I never carry cash on me.
I'm trying to figure out how my son got put into the wrong reading class and now his whole schedule is going to get shifted around.
The "Wrong Reading Class" what do they teach him to do? Read Comic Books or Porn? Or is it more along the lines of the intellectual meanderings of Lady GAGA?
LOL!!!! That would be more along the lines of inappropriate, rather than "wrong" for his reading level.:jester: I thought he sure was skating by on some homework, LOL. Free ride is over.
