If my dental insurance covers 100% why is the Dentist sending me a bill? :x

 

It depends on the price of what was done.

Example:
Insurance covers $X for a cleaning but the dentist charges more, then you get a bill.

 

Metlife has a pre-negotiated rate for cleanings with the Dentist. We get two cleanings per year paid at 100%. They aren't supposed to send me a bill. We buy the really expensive insurance since I already have a vacation home, mercedes, yacht etc. in my mouth. :cry:

 

I cancelled my dental insurance a while back, they were going up $10/mo??
I went twice a year for cleanings and that was IT.
